When you move from one residence to another, including brand new homes, the phrase “starting, stopping, or transferring services” is commonly used in regard to your utilities. This does not apply to sewer services. Instead, a name change in the property ownership takes place.
Please note that we are not able to change the account name into the name of a tenant, or renter. The ownership name must match the information available on the property deed. We are also unable to complete a name change if the property has not completed the escrow process.
